5G C-band is
the use of C-band spectrum to support the implementation of 5G technology.
C-band is a type of radio spectrum that was previously reserved for satellite
communications but is now used to support 5G networks. This technology is
becoming increasingly important as 5G networks begin to roll out, and 5G C-band
is seen as a way to support speed and coverage.
What is C-band?
The C band
is a set of frequencies in the radio spectrum ranging from 3.7 GHz to 4.2 GHz.
These periods were used for television and satellite broadcasting, broadcasting
and two-way radio as early as the 1970s. The FCC (Federal Communications
Commission) made the c band available for 5G networks. This mode is considered
a good solution to support the high speed and low latency of 5G and is expected
to be a key part of the 5G network in the future.
What is the C-band frequency?
The C-band
frequency, as mentioned above, is currently between 3.7 GHz and 4.2 GHz. This
range is between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. It also has another
incoming radio frequency band called CBRS, which is between 3.55 and 3.7 GHz.
The FCC wants to make room for 5G to accommodate this and launch 2 C-band
satellites to do so on October 4, 2022. The goal is to make this range suitable
for the 5G network, because it will have ability to support high speed. and low
latency of 5G.

According to the radio research company Rohde and Schwarz, c band covers all frequencies between 4 and 8 GHz. However, when American wireless geeks talk about C-band, they're talking about 3.7 to 4.2 GHz - and more, in this case, the 3.7 to 3.98 GHz range. Thank You so much for this post.
